Filmhimmelen (formerly Exposed Films) develop and produce films with a strong visual and narrative approach that speak to the imagination and the intellect, films that challenge us to rethink our understanding of the world in which we live. 

 

The company was founded in 1995 by Director and Producer Bjørn Eivind Aarskog, a Norwegian filmmaker, that started his film career working for Quentin Tarantino and Roberto Rodriguez, in Hollywood. He went on to produce and photograph numerous Award-winning documentaries and features including the acclaimed documentary, All About My Father. His most recent production, was Norway’s first True Crime series, Who Killed Birgitte? (2018), which he directed and produced.
