In the 70’, Trondheim is shocked by the gruesome rape and murder of two young female students. The TV journalist Tore Sandberg reports on the investigation, which ultimately leads to severely disabled Fritz Moen being sentenced for life and serving close to 19 years in prison.

30 years later Tore Sandberg is a successful private investigator specializing in solving miscarriages of justice cases. The Fritz Moen case has been disturbing him for years. He investigates ever deeper, exposing lies and criminal negligence all the way up to the Supreme Court.

Tore tracks down a suspect, files a petition for the impeachment of three Supreme Court Judges and eventually the Minister of Justice publicly apologize. But Fritz is a broken man. Can Tore clear his name before he dies?
